You sure this theme works well Maximus?
Gives an error at my end. Also the sidebar moves down to the bottom as if no .css file available there

Yes, it actually does work well. But not out of the box.
Though I am not the author, my impression is that he intended it largely to be a completely clean theme that is ready for code to be inserted into it (without having to remove someone else’s formatting first). It doesn’t appear to be intended for people who don’t know how to create/modify code.
The sidebar moves down to the bottom because there IS no CSS there. Again, I think that’s the point. You’ll note that my site, linked below, doesn’t look anything like Basic 1.0, but I used Basic 1.0 to build my own theme.
Again, I don’t recommend using this theme without major modifications.

Caution!
The print-stylesheet will not work because of this code ‘media=”screen”‘ in the header.php. Remove it, and you’re happy.

I love this theme, it’s helped me make several themes from scratch, top work.
Actually I’m using it at my personal blog, linked above, in its raw form. It’s hotness on a stick.

So, basically a theme stripped of any styles? You pretty much get the same look from stripping the stylesheet out of any theme out there.
