Very nice theme, though I’m having problems with it in certain resolutions in browsers other than Internet Explorer. In Firefox/Flock, the words run off the right side of the page. Something I can do to fix this?

Hi Kristyn - What resolution and what browsers? At an 800 resolution, it may cause a bit of a scroll to the right (the content is wider than 800 at a fixed width.) I’ve checked in IE6, IE7, FIrefox, Opera, Netscape and Safari and an unable to duplicate what you’ve mentioned here.
Thanks

I’m running into the margins issue using firefox 2 on Windows XP and on Firefox 1.5 on Solaris 10. I just changed the resolution to 1024×768 and IE 6 looks ok. Firefox is still a little off. Is there a way to set the fixed width a little less?

Really like this theme and have been running it for about a month now. Have discovered that while single post pages render correctly, pages using the pagetemplate have margin issues which I’m not sure how to fix. It’s not a scrolling issue (as in I’m not presented with a horizontal scroll bar). Running Firefox 2 on XP - see http://www.librarygirl.co.uk/knits/?page_id=40. It’s a very brief page with minimal text, yet not displaying correctly. Get slightly more text displayed on IE7 (which I don’t normally use), but it’s still truncated. Anyone else have this problem with pages? How to fix?

Thanks to everyone for your comments and feedback
I am pressed up against a pretty hard deadline at the moment, but I do have plans to update my themes over the next 2 weeks, or so. I will leave a note here when I have that accomplished - in the meantime, I do appreciate your patience!Comment by Lisa Sabin-Wilson — February 1, 4:17

this is my design and this user stole it from me.

Regarding the margins issue…
I’ve been able to reduce the margins by increasing the width parameter in the Style.css file under /*STRUCTURE*/ like this:
#page { width: 1000px; margin:auto;}
My problem right now (which I may fix soon) is that I want to use a Flash file for my navigation header, but it’s not showing on this template, even though it works in other templates.

Nevermind. I got the Flash to work. Forgot to upload one of the javascript files.

Hi Lisa,
I’ve been using this theme for a little over a month now and I really like it. I am trying to modify the CSS file to include settings for “blockquote”, and although the code is in there I cannot get it to display my blockquotes as defined. I’m obviously missing a piece. Any advice?

Hi Lynne - it would be helpful to have your url.
Without seeing it - my guess is that the blockquote style is defined twice in the stylesheet, and your site is picking up the last one listed. Check the stylesheet to see if you have: blockquote in there twice.

I am setting up a site using this theme, and find I have the same problem as no. 10: posts show up fine and pages are truncated to the right. Any suggestions for how to change this?
