  2. i’ve one problem with these theme, upper buttons, at bottom of header, doesn’t run. :S Rest of all is very good… :)

  7. Hey Nik, I really like this theme but cant quite get it to work…havent messed with it enough to explain in detail. I’m currently using your vistered little theme and love it!! Keep it up man!

  8. Nik, love the theme. I’m using it for FreeLinksFriday.com. One problem I’m having is with the search box. Can’t actvate it. It also won’t work on the demo here at WP.net. Any ideas?

  10. This theme kicks ass :) Very functional. Can’t figure out how to change the top menu bar (the one directly under the drop down “about” section) to list the titles/links to my pages, rather than the links to other links I’ve listed elsewhere. Any advice? Can’t find your email :)

  11. love this theme. something in the date block must be wrong on mine though… I’ve downloaded anew and replace the index.php file with the original but it still won’t show up on my last two entries (as of today) a 5 star for sure! Great work Nik

  12. I really like this theme and as of now (8/2006) I’ve made it my blog. I’ve also done a lot of mods to it.

    My main question though - has anyone widened it up? This is just way too narrow. It’ll work for all of my new posts, maybe (except for images) but all the previous posts I imported look like crap because I had assumed a slightly wider posting area.

    So I’ll just keep plugging away at the .css and hope I can not break too much stuff. If anyone has a wider version, let us all know!

    One remark though: Sometimes it makes a new post as an ‘aside’ instead of a ‘blogpost’, which results in not showing the Date/Time-stamp and meta tags, but instead just shows a small blue bar on the side of the comment.

Nein, natürlich nicht. Der Schriftzug ist nur ein Platzhalter. An dieser Stelle soll später ein Logo auftauchen, das im Rahmen eines Gewinnspiels von einem Leser erstellt wird. Im November kommt es also zum Wettbewerb »Gestalten Sie ein Logo für das Photoshop-Weblog«. Dann gibt es auch mehr Informationen. Nur soviel: Adobe wird den Hauptpreis beisteuern und der kann sich sehen lassen.   3. Was ist ein Backblog? Der Backblog genannte Bereich bietet einen Blick hinter die Kulissen. Kommen neue Features dazu, wird an dieser Stelle ein erklärender Satz geschrieben.   4. Mediadaten? Kommt es jetzt zum Ausverkauf? Nein, diese Seite wird nicht mit Werbung zugepflastert. Auf den einzelnen Seiten der Beiträge gibt es einen Bereich mit Google-Werbung, die dezent eingefügt wurde. Außerdem stellen wir einen Bereich für einen Banner zur Verfügung. Da ich in den nächsten Monaten täglich mehr in dieses Weblog investieren möchte (Thema: selbsterstellte Inhalte), sollte der Zeit- und Arbeitsaufwand auch vergütet werden.   5. Was ist aus dem Galileo Sponsoring geworden? Aus der Idee, an dieser Stelle öfters mal gesponserte Artikel zu präsentieren ist ein eigenes, großes Projekt gewachsen, das ich in der nächsten Woche hier präsentieren werde. Diese geheimnisvolle Website ist so etwas wie der große Bruder des Photoshop-Weblogs. Seid gespannt!   Jetzt lautet meine Aufgabe, die Kinderkrankheiten dieses Themes zu beheben.   5. There’s a bug in the Live Search feature.
    It will only return the same number of results
    as there are pages on display.

    For example, if you have your blog set up to only
    display one page at a time. Then the search results
    will only show a link to the most recent page.

    If you have your blog set up to display two pages
    at a time, then the search results will show links to
    two pages, etc.

    This makes the Search function useless if you have
    a very large number of pages, but choose to display
    a smaller number of pages at a time.

    Can this be fixed?

  8. I’ve had a lot of comments on my theme, which is just a slightly modified version of this. Great job Nik, The only thing I wish is that it was a little more flexible. If I knew PHP and CSS better I suppose I could mess with it, but it’s not worth it. I demand a refund!

  1. First of all: this is a great theme, my readers love it!
    But it seems not to work with Wordpress 2.1 - after doing the update the blogroll does not open any more…
    Does anybody know, if there is a WP 2.1 update for the theme?

  3. Hey

    My links in the sidebar also went dead after upgrade to 2.1 so there most be some fault in the theme….

    Would love a upgrade…

    On another thing, would love to have a list of the catagories in the menu so ppl can select one and see all posts in this catagori…

  9. Hi,
    first of all: Pretty nice theme. I love it. Thanks for it.
    But I found out another problem. When using hierarchical=1 in the categories, they aren’t shown that way. They keep being centered. Tried a lot but it still won’t work.
    Any ideas?
