Ohhhh, a simple plain customizable two column plain colored wordpress theme. Thank you. Or whatever,
I’m sick of boring simple themes which are just the previous theme with a new color skin. Why doesen’t anyone come up with something like durable or vistered little or wonderwall.

ahem. am not a big fan of extreeeeemly simple themes. simplicity is a well….its how you see it. hyperballad was simple but well designed. andreas05 is well designed and of course it looks great on IE and FF maybe, but on opera, am not impressed. close: i am giving an okay to this one.
but you deserve ur share of praises, thilak for taking the trouble of conversion!

the trouble is that there are plenty of simple themes out there. In every color shape and size that one could want. There’s a difference between simple and plain themes. A good color scheme, larger text size, larger linespacing, a little gradient, some violaters, basically, a little web2.0 philosophy.
I for one, like complex theme. I’m working on a theme myself based on k2 with flash post titles and what not. The point is to appear pleasing to the eye, which is not hard to do.
Spend a little time with your theme and it’ll look great.
