  1. I think it’s a lovely theme, but it won’t unpack. It says it can’t create a map called wall-sitting. That’s a bumber, because I love it.

  2. When I got it unpacked and uploaded it, WP says it’s damaged. It doesn’t contain a template, according to WP.

  3. I can’t imagine what your problem is, I downloaded it, unzipped it and it’s fine and dandy on my side. What are you using to extract the files? Winzip?

Comment by Pixelita Designs — January 1, 17:31

  4. Yep. The unzippingpart is working, but after uploading (and I’ve tried it with three different uploadprograms) I still get the message ‘No template’. I just don’t get it.

  5. And as I am trying to remove the directory from my weblogroot it just won’t go away. I was trying to install it all again, but it won’t dissapear. My FTP-program keeps telling me ‘Could not retrieve directorylisting’. I can’t even get into the wall-sitting directory. Really havne’t got a clue what I did wrong.

  6. Worked fine for me!

  7. Love the theme, but also have problems. WP tells me that the theme is broken, after uploading it.

  8. Absolutely love it - have a cat myself. I’m having a look round for later update/redo of my site, as I’m now pretty plain, but I’ve just started with this so I’m taking baby steps.

  9. Dave Navaro. I like what you do here.

  1. I have tested the zip file out on my machine and several of my friends have done so as well, without a problem. And it seems that the uploader here would catch something like that too, wouldn’t it? I mean, if there were a problem, it wouldn’t display in the “Test Run”? I can try to release it in RAR form if that would help anyone. Let me know.

  2. Got it to work! I deleted the folder and did two things differently:
    1. Used a PC as opposed to a Mac, used Winzip to unzip the file
    2. Deleted an almost invisible space in front of folder name
I’m actually not sure what worked, just happy it does, really love this theme! :-)

  5. Yes, you have a couple issues with this archive at first glance - you should rebuild on a proper machine (whatever that might be for you) and re-upload.

The filename has a prepended space (notice I had to escape it listing the archive) - this space is also retained in the extracted archive directory name..

The listing also shows an odd character, however on a linux machine, the extracted directory (with prepended space) is a normal directory.

    Kind Regards.

  8. There is a space in from of the packed file name. Take out the space and it unpacks fine. Thanks for the cool theme!

    Comment by Eric — January 27, 17:36

  9. Also note that you’ll have to take the space out of the front of the folder name after unpacking. What happened is the folder had a space in front of the name before it was packed and the space carried over to the zipped file name and still was in the folder name (2 places). No big whoop!

  1. My XP SP2 with IE7.0 doesn’t recognize the file-type of this theme as a zip file when I click on the download linl. I’ve clicked download on about 8 other themes tonight from the theme browser and my machine recognizes all as zip files.

Can you give me any advice?

  2. I love the look of this theme, but when I try to unzip it I get stopped by Windows XP. It also still does have the blank in front of the folder name.

Is there a way I can connect via FTP server and try it that way?

    Other suggestions?

  3. nice theme and i had no trouble downloading and unzipping the distro file on a Win XP machine.

  4. I tried it again… It doesn’t work for me with Firefox or IE7. Can SOMEONE please send me their downloaded zip file for this theme? (webmaster[at]motorsportsnews.net) MANY THANKS!

  5. I tried it with the same problem. I just renamed the directory from ‘wall sitting’ (with a space before the ‘w’) to ‘wall sitting’ (no space before the ‘wall’). And it worked fine. :D

  6. Well sorry to come back but I can’t seem to get the links or meta information to show up on the sidebars. If I want to login I have to manually type the link.

It’s a very adorable theme which I would love to use but it doesn’t give me very many options.

  7. I can’t use the theme, too. May someone help me please?

  9. just an update I use winrar and I right clicked and told it to extract but then in the winrar window I clicked on advance and put a check in don’t extract paths, remember you also have to rename the files without that spaces first. Hope this helps someone.

In fact now that mine is working I rezipped it and put a link on my site to download it until the author can fix it or forever.

You should be able to click on my name below and then click on the wordpress directory on the left of the blog, should be the top article.
