  1. I like the look of this theme. I really think 3 columns are the way to go especially having a left and right sidebar with the content in the center.

    If work is still being done to this theme, I would strongly recommend making the theme widgets ready… This is the only reason why I didn’t rate the theme a 5 out of 5.

    There are many people that will enjoy the colors you have chosen, however if there is a way for people to modify the colors without having to manually do it by editing the style sheet, that would be better too.

    Overall, I am very impressed with the theme and feel that you are on the right path towards creating killer themes. I know that a lot of hard work has been put into this theme. It would be great to see the theme widgets ready and great to see some easy customization features added. Keep up the great work!

    thx for commenting ;)

    I will keep up the work on Green Park. I’m already working on some issues like the Widget Support or the support for color editing via the admin panel. It will hopefully be available within a couple of days.

    My ToDo-List for 0.9.1:

    * Fix some issues in CSS for IE6
    * Fix “div” problem in comments when logged in with Opera.
    * Add WordPress Widget Support
    * Add WordPress 2.1 Support (when available)

    BTW: I saw that on other themes as well. I wondered how the theme can be rated 3.5 if there is only one (rated 4) who has rated yet ???
    Is there a bug in the themesviewer or can your rate without leaving a comment?

  5. I really like this theme, but need the Widget thingys. A pink background would look nice there just aren’t enough wimmin ready themes.

  10. First off…one of the best themes I’ve seen. Thank you for being CONTENT conscious! Most designs get in the way of the content, but not this one. Thank you , thank you, thank you!

    Couple of things…I think JM Campbell was referringn to “Home” instead of “Blog”. That would be wonderful as the “Pages” now are sort of lost at the bottom.

    Also, anyway to get the text beside the picture to lay upside the picture instead of just at the bottom edge?

    And last, how difficult would it be to vary the position of the picture from left side to right?

  12. As much as I love the look of this theme, it absolutely does not render the same in the three major browsers: Opera, Firefox, and IE. Biggest problem is there is a HUGE gap between the content and the footer within IE. Yucky! :)

    thanks for the hint, I think that’s exactly what JM meant ;)

    Open the sidebar.php and search for “pages”. Copy the whole line below “pages” and replace the whole line where it says “Home” in header.php. But you will have a problem with the list if you don`t have basic knowledge of css.

    You can apply css to the image or mark the image in the extended editor of WP and click on the image icon above the field where you can specify the alignment of the image (”right” in your case). The text will float around the image after the changes.

    @ Kelley:

    I had 3 computers with different resolution to test the theme with IE6 / IE 7 Beta 3, Firefox 1.5.0.5/SeaMonkey 1.0.4 and Opera 9. But maybe on a 4th it’s different ;)
    Can you please take a screenshots of the problems you mentioned and post them here? E.g. the gap between content and footer is only the width of a thumb on my computer.

  14. Um, I installed this theme and my blogroll has disappeared. On the left I have Categories, Search and Meta, and on the right I have Last Entries and Archives. Wha’appen??

    Well I can actually answer that. The blogroll.php file is identical to the searchform.php file, which produces the search bar. So something has gone slightly wrong.

    Also, like the first commenter, I’d really like to be able to change the colours via the WP admin page, rather than editing the stylesheet.

    Just remove the file “blogroll.php” from your themes directory and the Blogroll will work again. I’ve updated the theme to Beta 4.

  16. Ummm, apparently not. I removed the file blogroll.php, but the theme still does not show the blogroll. I made sure to change back to default theme to check that the blogroll is still there, which it is.

    Sorry to be a pain, but I really like this theme so would like to stick with it …

    can you give me the URL to your blog?

    As the update function at themeviewer is currently not working properly, please update your blog to 0.91 Beta 4 from here:
    http://smartsite.de/c/cordobo_de/free-wordpress-templates/cordobo-green-park/

    (use the mirror on my site, not the Link to themeviewer)

    Deactivate the theme by choosing a different one and delete the entire theme folder (save images) before you upload the updated theme and activate it again.

  26. Very very nice!!!

    A few misalignments here & there across the browsers and all but overall definately one of the themes that I’ll be looking to use. Was looking for a 3 column theme that doesn’t have the side bars break apart & sink to the botton and now see that nicely coded variable width themes like this gets the job done. Definately may be a keeper ^_^

  1. Why is there no “single post” template included? Not having one eliminates the possibility of small differences between front page posts and single-page post, such as being able to use excerpts on the front page.

  2. Some comments:

    - Great template, overall. Congrats, nice work.

    - What I did not like was that the headings of the widget boxes were “sticking” too much to the contents of the widget on top.

    I replaced the “padding” in the h3 part of the css with. “padding-top: 8px;” and slightly made the h3…something.gif a little bit “bigger” (with an transparent part on top). Now it looks a lot better.

    - I will probably find this out soon, but why is there no trackback link for the postings (comments do have one), and how do I add that link?

  6. I really like this theme. However, on my site the posts and forum are misaligned. I asked just the owner of the theme for help and hope he van help me out.

    If the problems are solved I will continue to use this site because it is ‘fresh’ and very nice to use with many different widgets.

    I see it in so many themes and the fix is quite easy.

    use wp_list_pages(’title_li=&depth=1′) in the header.php

  10. Hi,
    thanks for your theme which is really nice (I have adapted the colors to fit with my requirements!) .
    I have 2 problems with this theme :
    1/ I cannot download MP3 files (eg : 2.2Mo). Is there any pluggins to add to enable such download ?
    2/ I am on IE6 and I have some problems on layout (the problem is visible only with IE6). This problem was existing before the colors changes!
    Can I do anything to solve it ?

  32. Great theme, but I am seeing a mysql error on the right side where it is supposed to display categories.. here is the error:

    WordPress database error: [You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near '' at line 1]

    Appears to be missing the category table name, the code reads:
    $link_cats = $wpdb->get_results(”SELECT cat_id, cat_name FROM $wpdb->linkcategories”);

    and $wpdb->linkcategories appears to be empty.

    Excuse me, my english is very bad but i´ve some questions. I love this theme and i´m using it in my blog. But i´d like to know several things.

    A) Where can i modify the colour of the title of the text?
    B) Can i put in my web page a calendar? How could i do it? Is there any way to translate the days and the months? (for example, “January ” in Spanish is “Enero”…) And translate the dates too? (In Spain we don’ t use “15th” but “15″.

  35. Great theme! I adore it, and I use it on my site.

    I did find a problem, and it’s solution, and I thought you’d want to know about it.

    I’m using Wordpress 2.1, and the Blogroll doesn’t work. It just shows an SQL error. I fixed it by changing sidebar.php. I replaced this:

    get_results(”SELECT cat_id, cat_name FROM $wpdb->linkcategories”);
    foreach ($link_cats as $link_cat) {
    ?>
    cat_id; ?>”>cat_name; ?>
    cat_id); ?>

    Thank you for the nice site, however here are the problems I am facing after upload version 0.9.2 BETA 12:

    In both Firefox and IE:

    1. Comments form is not working properly, the error message always comes up even filling up all the requirement:

    –> Error: Please press the back button and fill the required field for spam protection.

    2. Some pages, the Left side bar stick with the content/post page and no space in between, but right sidebar works find.

    –> How to make the content/post page in the right of the middle between the 2 sidebars?

  27. I just found this theme and adore it - the colors are great, it’s easy to read, the layout is simple and beautiful.

    I’m getting the MySQL error where the blogroll should be, and though I tried the fix you stated above, it didn’t get fixed. :(

    I’d also like to add an image in the header (I have a new header that was made for me and the colors mesh with this theme perfectly) - is that possible?

The site is in my mother tongue called “Malayalam”. But that shouldn’t stop the search funtion from working logically. You have any clue?

  33. Great looking theme. Love the way you made it easy to change color scheme.
    The problem I have is the same as post 99 the MySQL error in the right sidebar where the blog roll should be, easy fixed?
